Only three entries have Clippers? The only hope Max, Joshua and I can have is the Nuggets manage to win a couple of games to stretch the series out.

Wouldn't I be in more trouble losing Dirk? If Dallas makes a run to the finals, to have one player worth 4 times all his stats, as opposed to 2 players worth only 1 times? I'm no math guy, but wouldn't that mean approx. twice as many points (assuming Dirk plays well)? I may not be better off in the standings, but I fail to see how I'd be worse off in that situation.

Dirk's stats aren't 4 times more than the actual result, they are 1.4 times vs 1.1 times for a #1 seeded player.

The expectation is that your two players on a #1 seeded team would outscore Dirk each game, thus give you more points. Plus losing Dirk hurts more teams ahead of you who did not choose such a conservative, math challenged approach.

Yeah, my bad.

Sorry to waste my breath and your time.

What Max and I need to happen to hold off the challengers:
* The Mavs to reach the finals
* Dirk to outscore Nash in the Western Conference Championship
* The Heat to reach the finals, preferable 4-1, but most likely 4-2
* Season ending injury to Wade
