Sasaki to Retire

Kazuhiro Sasaki aka Daimajin announced yesterday that he will retire at the end of the season. He will make most likely his last mound appearance next Tuesday when the Baystars play host to the Giants in Sendai's Fullcast Stadium.

Sendai is Sasaki's hometown. Sasaki has lost his position as closer and has been ineffective for the Baystars, spending a large portion of the season on the DL and in the minors.
